Computer Music Review

Get your Charley on with Sample Magic's raving new White Label, comprising 350MB of perfectly retrofied loops (at 128 and 145bpm, many with their original triggering MIDI files) and one-shots. The synth/piano work and breakbeat design successfully negotiate the fine line between reference and pastiche, and the crunchy production style comes across as so authentic that you'll feel like you've just spent an hour on the M25. There's an energy to the samples that lends them more contemporary relevance than you might expect, and you get a good amount of content for your money.
