It’s been another busy period here at SM HQ. The second half of April has seen a jam-packed release schedule with new products on both SM White Label and SM101. But perhaps most exciting is the imminent release of our first ever plugin.
Since the recent revamp of the SM101 label it’s been a run of back-to-back releases with Tuned Kicks and Massive Deep House Patches 2 offering up yet more cutting-edge studio ammunition.
Tuned Kicks does exactly what it says on the tin: we’ve served up 101 super fat and ultra punchy kick drums to propel your next dancefloor bomb. But they’re also key-labeled so you no longer waste precious studio time tuning your kick drum to the bass, synth or tuned percussive elements in your track – giving you more time to focus on making the music!
Massive Deep House Patches 2 tackles the mutant strain of deep house taking the global dancefloor by storm. Think Julio Bashmore, Disclosure, Dusky. Loaded with chunky basses, deep vintage-inspired chords, sparkling synth leads and hazy pads, it’s a one-stop shop of Massive users looking for that slick, subby house sound.
Our underground offshoot, SM White Label, has also been at it again – this time it’s a serious slab of rough ‘n’ ready techno inspired by the likes of Shed, Blawan, Sandwell District and Boddika. Enter Warehouse Techno.
Totalling over 400MB of loops and hits it’s crammed with some of the rawest, dirtiest and twisted analogue synths and bass we’ve heard in a long time. Couple that with the gritty, pounding drum machine workouts and it’s easy to see why this one’s ready for the warehouse rave. We’ve dusted off a slew of classic hardware for this one and it really shows – it’s rawthentic to the core!
Finally, there’s just enough time to remind you to look out for the fast approaching release of our first ever plugin. It’s an exciting time for us and with the beta testing phase now complete we can’t wait to share it with you. Not long now!
