SM19 Organic House: Out Now

We are delighted to announce the release of SM19 Organic House, a six-month labour of sound-design love and quite simply one of the best collections we've ever put out.
Fusing the underground sounds of pumping afterhours house with subtle disco, minimal, tribal and techno elements, Organic House delivers 870+MB of beautifully programmed loops in our industry-standard 24-bit 44.1khz key-labelled two-bar format.
Sparkling with detail, the sparseness of the sounds allows for instant inspiration with quick and easy layering at its heart. Ideally suited to all genres of four-to-the-floor music, loops come at 125 and 128bpm with flexible variations offered for many of the samples.

SM18 Ultimate FX - Video Preview

One of our Sample Magic users has sent in this cool vid showcasing the sounds in SM18 Ultimate FX, including a few hints and tips on getting more from the collection (including layering sounds and reversing samples). Using Ableton, he runs through all the folders, showing what to expect from each, wth audio examples to help you get a feel for the scope and size of the collection. Enjoy.

Soundtrack & Chill: Shipping & Reviews

SM17: Soundtrack & Chill is now shipping on DVD from our London HQ. As ever with Sample Magic DVDs, it's free shipping worldwide using our priority Fedex service.
To coincide with its physical release, it has been garnered with kind words from both Music Tech mag and the boys over at Rekkerd.org.
Music Tech notes the "heartbreakingly beautiful collection of somber piano riffs" in the "very smooth and warm-sounding library that avoids the digital coldness often found with purely digital processing paths".
"The quality is consistently high," the review continues, concluding that SM17 is "An intricate and beautiful... collection of manipulated chillout loops."
Rekkerd.Org also think the collection is "stunningly beautiful"; "the sounds themselves are great," they write, "inspiring, creative, and well produced. And there is plenty of material that is just screaming to be dropped into your sampler, ready to cross over to other music genres."
