Who are Sample Magic?

Shahrooz Raoofi - Co-Founder - Shahrooz is a DJ/Producer with various releases and remixes under his belt. Specialising primarily in the electronic side of house, his most recent track 'Hell Yeah' enjoyed multiple plays on Radio 1, supported by the likes of Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Roger Sanchez and debuted at no.2 in the UK Buzz Chart. In the past he has remixed the likes of Afro Medusa, Howard Jones and Martina-Topley Bird and recorded for labels including Hed Kandi, Oxyd, Warner Music and Milk & Sugar. He also composes production music for BMG Zomba and EMI and has worked in marketing for London Records and Mercury Records.

David Felton - Co-Founder - Dave, as Jake Island, is currently recording his debut album for Mark Knight's much vaunted Toolroom Recordings label, enlisting the help of Joey Negro's mix engineer K-Boy to rock the boards. He works with Milk & Sugar's Nicole Tyler, has remixed Mark Knight and has previous releases on Peppermint Jam's Design Recordings label and Belgian label Greyhound Music. He writes production music for Boosey & Hawkes and KPM and has a strong background in sales, editorial and marketing.
